Senior Project Coordinator
The Muskoka Community Land Trust (MCLT) is a community-led, nonprofit organization dedicated to acquiring and stewarding land in Muskoka to develop permanently affordable housing, social enterprises, and food security initiatives.
By holding land on behalf of the community, MCLT aims to balance individual needs for secure housing with broader community goals, such as maintaining housing affordability, preventing displacement of vulnerable residents, and promoting economic and social inclusion.
MCLT has won a transformative grant that will open the door to additional funding partner participation in the capital costs of building 179 units of green, clean, purpose-built rental housing. This grant will allow us to develop and document the processes required to bring a project of this magnitude from vision to breaking ground. It will also result in a template for other non-profit housing organizations across Ontario, enabling them to replicate demonstrated proof of concept rather than building new models from scratch.
The Senior Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of activities funded by this grant, ensuring successful completion by the project end date.
The Senior Project Coordinator will work closely with and report directly to the Executive Director. They will also be responsible for coordinating volunteers for tabling at events throughout the spring and summer of 2025.
