What the Future of History Looks Like: A Showcase of our Flagship Projects

What the Future of History Looks Like: A Showcase of our Flagship Projects

We know that the future of public history is digital, and we want to show you what that future is going to look like. That future of history is so bright we're going to need sunglasses! 😎 Join us for the ride!

We've worked with dozens of cities, towns, and villages across Canada to create a whole range of digital history experiences, and we've been working hard to stay ahead of the curve.

Every project we've done has been an exciting and unique adventure, and they often take us in surprising new directions.

In this webinar we'll give you a sizzle reel of some of our flagship projects.

We'll tell you about some of the extraordinary places we've visited, studied, and photographed.

We'll demonstrate the wide range of capabilities we've developed, and get you excited to bring a cutting-edge digital history experience to your community.

Some of the we'll talk about include:

    - How a series of tours and story locations spanning British Columbia tell the often forgotten story of the unjust internment of Ukrainians and others during the First World War.

    - How we incorporated photography to recreate aerial photographs of the vanished towns of Michel and Natal.

    - How Metis history and culture is being revived by the Metis Crossing interpretive centre in Alberta, and how we're helping to tell their story

    - How the history of the Acadiens in New Brunswick's Bay of Fundy is being brought back to life with one of our audio driving tours.

    - How a set of historic photos of a largely forgotten amphibious invasion exercise on a Vancouver beach brought World War II home to the West Coast.

    - The way we will be able to showcase Hope, BC, as the filming location for the movie Rambo.

    - How a virtual tour of the Fort Museum of the Northwest Mounted Police in Fort Macleod brings that exciting space to life for people anywhere in the world.

And many more!
