The 50 – 30 Challenge aims to advance gender parity and increase the representation of equity-seeking groups on boards and in senior leadership roles across Canada. More than 1,400 organizations of all sizes in both for profit and non-profit sectors currently support the challenge.
After several consultations with diversity and inclusion experts, over 400 participants, and the launch of diconsulting.ca, the Publicly Available Specification (PAS) was released in December 2021 and DI was selected as an Ecosystem partner to continue the important work to support the 50 – 30 signatories.
Today, we are working with partner organizations and allies to promote diverse workplaces and boards and explain how organizations in Canada can use the PAS and other tools to meet the 50 – 30 Challenge. Six workshops will be presented from February 8th to February 10th, including two French sessions.
